Dear Ms. Reynolds,
There are several issues which are prevalent in our world of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. For the month of March in the spring of 2012, we would like to promote awareness of issues such as homelessness, racism, discrimination, friendship, illiteracy, poverty, acceptance, courage, acceptance, and death.
In order to promote these issues so that the public, our customers, would be able to experience the presence and/or the lack of one of these issues, Six Flags Over Texas is asking sixth grade students to create a ride or an attraction that would place an issue of your choice at the forefront of public awareness.
Our hope is that when our customers have completed your ride or attraction they will be made well aware of the problems that cause the issue, as well as the solutions to the problems. We would like for each customer to be able to experience, through their senses, the feelings associated with your chosen issue. This way customer will be made aware that power of the solution is within themselves.
We are looking forward to seeing your acceptance of this challenge through your brainstorming, ideas, plans, and final products on November 3, 2011.
Sincerely,
James Reid-Anderson James Reid-Anderson CEO Six Flags Entertainment Corporation
