Presentation Expectations

Director:

• You will introduce your group by first names
• You will tell the audience what your theme is and how it is found in Maniac Magee
• After each person speaks, you will be the transitions, introducing the next speaker
• Speakers will be in this order
  • Director
  • Advertising Executive
  • Engineer
  • Technical Director
  • Sound Director
• After the sound Director speaks, you will say: "That concludes our presentation of (Name of Theme). We would like to thank you for coming and listening to our presentation."
• After your conclusion, the group will sit down.

Advertising Executive:

• You will give statistics about your theme and tell why it is important for the public to be aware of your theme
• You will tell the audience why it is important for them to come to your ride or attraction (because of the experience: causes, effects, emotions and solutions)
• You will share your advertisement

Engineer

• You will show the structure and tell the audience the name of your attraction or ride.
• You will tell why your group chose that particular ride or attraction, and how it reflects your theme.

Technical Director:

• You will explain to the audience that what they are about to see are the images and sounds that they would experience if they were to be involved in your ride or attraction.
• You will explain how the images reflect the causes, effects, emotions, and solutions to your theme.

Sound Director:

• You will share with the audience how ther music adds to your group's ride or attraction.
• You will also explain how the music reflects the message that you ride or attraction is getting across to the public.
